Artwork & Prints by Geo. McCalip

-- Creating the Artwork --

artwork - noun - material (as a drawing or photograph) prepared for reproduction in printed matter (Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary)
The process for creating the artwork begins when Geo. takes a photograph. He scans the photo into the computer and does any necessary image adjustment (i.e., cropping, color balancing, changing brightness and/or contrast, etc.).

After adjusting the scanned picture, Geo. then processes it to enrich the image and create the artwork for printing.

Geo. then prints the images using equipment chosen specifically to produce the highest quality prints. He does the murals and limited edition prints using a giclée process. For the note cards he uses high quality photolithography.
